February 19, 2024, today, GF’s Godavari College of Engineering (GCOE) resonated with pride and devotion as they celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with a vibrant Shiv-Jayanti mahotsav.
A grand procession kicked off the festivities, featuring a student adorned as the revered warrior king, mounted on a horse, greeted with cheers and a vibrant display of dhol, tasha, and lezim beats. A captivating street play added another layer of cultural richness to the procession.
Dr Vijaykumar Patil, Principal of GF’s GCOE, welcomed and felicitated the guest speaker, Mr Atul Dwarikanath Manohar. The celebration bloomed with melodious renditions of Shivaji’s life story sung by talented girl students. Their powerful powadas reverberated through the campus, stirring emotions and igniting patriotic fervor.
Inspiring speeches by students shed light on Shivaji’s remarkable leadership, military prowess, and enduring legacy. Their words served as a call to action, reminding everyone to imbibe his ideals of justice, valor, and good governance.

February 16, 2024, GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon’s students embarked on a virtual journey to the USA at the informative session ” Career and Higher Education at USA” held on February 16th 2024.
Dr Vijaykumar Patil (Principal), warmly welcomed the esteemed guest speaker, Ms Aditi Lele. Through captivating visuals and insightful explanations, Ms. Lele demystified the US education system, highlighting its strengths and potential challenges. The session provided valuable guidance on selecting the right college/university, navigating the intricacies of scholarship opportunities, and maximizing internship and placement prospects.

The GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon, Sports Week came to an exciting close on February 10th, 2024, with thrilling matches across various sports!
On day one, Dr VijayKumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE), inaugurated the event and elaborated on the importance of sports in our life in his address to the students. Sports Director Dr Aasif Khan, all the head of departments and students of GF’s GCOE Jalgaon were present on this occasion.
Highlights of the Sports week:-
Cricket: The E&TC Boys team emerged victorious, defeating the Mechanical team in a nail-biting final.
Box Cricket (Girls): The Royal Challengers AIDS team showcased their skills and teamwork, clinching the championship title.
Football: The First Year team Strikers FC displayed their prowess on the field, edging past the Third Year Computer ( Polytechnic ) students in the final match.

Yesterday on Feb. 02, 2024, a, ” Road Safety Awareness Program”, was organised by RTO Jalgaon in association with IQAC, at GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon. Mr Shyam Lohi ( RTO Jalgaon), along with Mr Ganesh Patil ( Assistant RTO Inspector) and Mr Sachin Rathore ( Assistant RTO Inspector), were available as a chief guest and guide for this program. Dr VijayKumar Patil (Principal GF’S GCOE), given a warm welcome and felicitation to the guests. Prof Hemant Ingale ( Dean Academics), Prof Dipak Zambre ( Coordinator Polytechnic), and all the Heads of Departments witnessed the program. During his guidance Mr Shyam Lohi, given awareness about the traffic rules and regulations and safety measures in a very interesting question-answer format. He, also gifted helmets to the students, for their right answers.
On Date Feb. 01, 2024, an Expert Training Session on” Career Enhancement through LinkedIn” Conducted by Mr Tanmay S Dixit at GF’s Godavari College of Engineering Jalgaon. The Speaker Mr Tanmay S Dixit has been given a warm welcome and felicitation by, Dr Vijaykumar Wankhede (Training & Placement Officer). More than 300 Student Participants received the very fruitful guidance from Mr Dixit.
The vibrant campus of GF’S GCOE Jalgaon, witnessed a heartwarming tree plantation drive today, lead by our dynamic girl students of first year Engineering. With shovels in hand and smiles on their faces, our future engineers actively dug, planted, and nurtured various saplings, promising a greener future for the college. This beautiful act of greening our campus wasn’t just about planting trees; it was about planting hope, fostering a sense of environmental stewardship, and celebrating the spirit of our Republic. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the Hon. President of Godavari Foundation Dr Ulhas Patil sir, the Hon.Secretary, Dr Varsha Patil ma’am, our esteemed Principal, Dr.VijayKumar Patil,and all the Heads of Departments, along with all deans of the college.
