Rules

1. The students are expected to observe and strictly obey the instructions given by the principal from time to time.
2. Students required to maintain not only good academic progress but also high discipline in the campus.
3.Students will be expelled from the college if found disobeying the orders of the principal and the faculty members.
4. Leave of absence due to sickness, attending family functions and participation, paper presentation in conferences/
symposia/seminars/workshops, cultural and sports events and NSS activity should not exceed 20% of the classes.
5. A minimum of 80% attendance in each subject is necessary to write the Continuous Assessment Examinations.
6. No student with less than 80% attendance in each subject will be permitted to write the University Examinations for any reason.
7. Students with less than 80% attendance in each subject in a semester will have to Re-register in the next academic year.
8. The student should always carry identity card with him and it should be produced if demanded by the authority of the college.
9. The vehicles should be parked at a place notified for the purpose of vehicle stand on his own responsibility.
10. Students attending the college must be in the prescribed dress code.
11. Loud talking, congregating in the windows, laboratories and class room should be avoided.
12. Ragging of the students in any form within or outside the college and hostel is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be strictly punished
as per Govt. Rules. As per the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India order if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the
concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from
the institution.
13. Student indulging in eve teasing will be expelled.
14. Smoking, chewing of tobacco and gutkha possession of narcotics and drugs is strictly prohibited in the college premises and guilty
will be liable for punishment under the Mumbai Police Act 1951.
14. Students are responsible for the care of the college property. Damage done to the property of the college by disfiguring walls, doors,
windows, electrical and other fitting or breaking the window glasses, furniture and such other activities in a breach of discipline will be
punishable as such and the whole class may be fined, if the culprit is not traced.
15. Cleanliness of the campus is important. Student should throw the garbage in the dist-bins and should not spit on the walls and floor.
Any such act is punishable.
16. Student should be punctual for all theory and laboratory classes as well as for guest lectures and meetings.
17. The student coming late shall not be allowed to enter in the college campus.
18. Student must compulsorily attended social and national events organized by the college and all declared national celebrations.
19. Possession of cell phones, cameras or any such devices by the student in the college campus is restricted.
20. It is the duty of the students to switch off fans and lights when not in use.
21. The students must read the notices displayed on the notice board regularly and the college will not be responsible for the loss of any
advantage due to negligence of reading notices, on the part of the students.
22. The principal reserves the right modify or add to the above rules in the interest of the college.
